Water wiping & automatic garbage collection & super fashionable! Robot vacuum cleaner "neabot NoMo Q11" review

They provided the neabot Nomo Q11, a robot vacuum cleaner with a stylish housing that makes it hard to believe that it is a robot vacuum cleaner. I will review.

Opened

Accessories were the first thing that came out when I opened the box. The contents are an attachment for wiping with water, mops (2), spare filters, brushes (one of them is spare), and an instruction manual. Next, I will introduce the main body. At first glance, it looks normal, but isn't there something wrong with it? The front is in front of the logo. It is made in reverse to a normal robot vacuum cleaner.

The design that does not let you be conscious of a button is stylish. I thought it was a touch type, but it was a push type. I will check the back. On the back, it looks like a normal robot vacuum cleaner. The dustbin is in front, I was surprised to see that this dust box is also very different from other robot vacuum cleaners.

I'll say it again, but this is a dust box. However, it also serves as a tank for wiping water. That is right. This one serves as a dust box and a water wiping tank.

Therefore, the dust box feels smaller than a normal robot vacuum cleaner. Since it is automatically collected, I think that it was judged that there was no problem even if it was not so large. In fact, it didn't bother me. The dust box and the tank part for water are opened. It's a very interesting structure.

Another thing that bothered me was the metal parts. I wonder what it is for, but it seems to be a mechanism to charge from here. It is a mechanism to charge the battery of the main unit through the dust box. Therefore, the dust box can be filled with water, but there seems to be a disadvantage that it cannot be washed with water. Please note that.

Another thing that bothered me was where the water was coming from. Until now, many products were used by soaking them in a mop. If you look closely, there is a small hole in the tank part, and it seems to be a mechanism to wet the mop by putting out water from here. After installing all the parts that were prepared, it became a familiar figure. The brush is only on one side.

Next, I will introduce the charging station that collects garbage. This is also a design that can not be considered from the robot vacuum cleaner so far. It has a glossy, ceramic-like design. By attaching the dust box introduced earlier, it is a mechanism that automatically collects garbage and charges.

Open the top lid. The lid is detachable with a magnet and can be opened completely. It seems to be easy to remove and clean. When you remove the attached paper pack, it will look like this. The filter is removable. All in all, it's a robot vacuum cleaner you've never seen before. It has a futuristic feel to it.

setting

Similar to the neabot product introduced last time, it is equipped with an IoT function and can be connected to a smartphone to enable area and remote control. Please note that the app has a new app that is different from the previous neabot. This time, we will select Q11 and set it. 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is required for connection. Please note that 5GHz cannot be set. When the setting is completed, the map data of the acquired room will be displayed momentarily. It's fast. And the interface is a little cute.

There are many setting items. In addition to area management, you can share the vacuum cleaner with family and other users, check firmware updates, cleaning records, usage time of consumables, etc.

cleaning

Well, even if it looks good, the important thing is its performance as a vacuum cleaner. If you watch the video uploaded to Makuake, it seems to recognize and avoid even small obstacles. Conventional robot vacuum cleaners have a large LiDAR on the top, but this product does not have such a large sensor. Hmm, performance improvement? Really?

I'm a sloppy person, and when I get home, I leave my bag there, and I have a home theater in my room, so there are places where the cables are unavoidably exposed. Until now, it was common for robot vacuum cleaners to get caught and bump repeatedly. I will try that as well.

This time, I will try to put water in the tank and wipe it with water at the same time. Press GO from the smartphone you set up earlier to start cleaning. I didn't check the suction power or detailed settings and ran everything up to you. Writing the results first, there was no big difference from the previous robot vacuum cleaner. But did the shock get gentler? That's my impression.

With robot vacuum cleaners up until now, it was common for tripods (strobes for product photography) to be knocked over in the room or knocked over wine bottles you just bought. There was no

In addition, there were times when I ran over the shelf that was placed flat on the floor, but the Q11 did not have such a problem and cleaned smartly.

As a result of cleaning, there was some garbage left in the corner of the corridor, but I felt that the probability of garbage remaining gradually decreased, probably because I learned while using it. The room is different for each user, so if you learn and improve it, it's OK.

Also, the Q11 can be charged with a water tank and mop attached. This is good. Until now, many robot vacuum cleaners that can be wiped with water were somewhat troublesome because some of them could not be charged without removing the tank (mop) for some reason. It seems that this product does not need to be removed because the tank and dust box are integrated.

There is no complaint about the essential water wiping. It feels like it's been wiped off when walking barefoot, but it dries quickly, so it's acceptable. The amount of water can be adjusted from the app, so you can change it to your liking.

The thing that surprised me the most was that the Q11 can clean up spilled liquids on its own. Even if milk or coffee is spilled on the floor, there is no problem thanks to the high-performance filter. That's amazing....

dissatisfaction

I will introduce the dissatisfaction point that I felt while using it.

Not compatible with voice assistant

It seems that the current voice assistant is not supported.

I've looked in the manual and googled but can't find a way to do it. Also, since the remote control is not included, it is necessary to press the button on the smartphone or the main unit each time. The previously reviewed neabot Nomo was able to use Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa under the service name Tuya, but it's a degeneracy. Since the main unit supports software updates, I would like to expect it to correspond at a later date.

hard to fill with water

tank is inconvenient. Was it a lie when you said it was convenient earlier? No, this is both convenient and inconvenient. Most robot vacuum cleaners have a water tank that can be easily removed while charging, but this product has a tank attached to the charging dock. Therefore, each time you refill water, you need to take the main unit out of the dock, remove the tank, and fill it with water. I think this is a point where people have different tastes.

Loud sound of picking up dust

The last product was also, but the sound when sucking up garbage is quite loud. 100% no noise late at night and early in the morning. As for how loud it is, it's louder than the Dyson V8 MAX mode that I use. It may be better to use it only during the daytime or not to use the suction. (Can be set from the app.)

Overall review

It works perfectly as a robot vacuum cleaner. The appearance is also good personally. However, it is difficult to operate. It works perfectly as a robot vacuum cleaner. High-precision automatic map generation using LiDAR, gentle impact when colliding, and wiping with water is perfect. No need to remove the tank. It has a futuristic appearance and is compatible with Dyson's air purifier.

However, personally, it's a shame that it doesn't support Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, which are supported and taken for granted. At least if an infrared remote control is included, it can be covered by Nature Remo or SwitchBot, but they are not available. You need to control it from the app or press the button on the main unit each time. If these are not a problem, I think that it is a product that can be highly recommended.
